 OF THE YEAR”

Located between Lawrenceburg (“Crossroads of Dixie”) and Waynesboro, Tennessee, the Confederacy’s geographic centre.

While spaces last you can enjoy free camping at the Farm that includes running  water, outhouses, showers, and firewood. Grounds open 31 August 2007

·         Friday, August 31, folks start arriving (free camping on site),

·         Saturday evening, all the trimmin’s barbecue dinner, featuring pasture-fed pork and chicken raised right here on the Top.

·         Sunday morning, Sept. 2, Our pastor will celebrate Holy Communion .  All baptised Christians are affectionately invited to the Lord’s Table.

·         Besides the Hoedown, the Top of the World Farm’s neighbourhood boasts hundreds of sights within easy driving range:  Plantation Alley; Bishop Polk’s home church in Mount Pleasant; the Battlefields of Franklin, Stones River, and Shiloh; Pulaski, where the Confederacy’s boy spy, Sam Davis, was hanged; the Natchez Trace Parkway, and on and on.  (I’m not even going to mention the Museum of Snuff in Nashville, only two hours away, or the Coon Dog Memorial Graveyard south of Tuscumbia).

SPECIAL:  Are you a Christian man or woman fed up with dating?  Wondering if you will ever find a spouse who shares your faith and culture?  We don’t promise anything, but lots of eligible young men and women attend the Hoedown.  We know at least one couple who met there a few years ago and now is happily married.  What can it hurt to take a look, and have a good time in the process/
